In particular, we draw on methods of global learning, which focus not only on imparting knowledge about global interconnections but also on the development of skills. By formulating their own utopian vision and exploring avenues for change, participants develop their critical thinking skills, sense of agency and capacity for social participation. We therefore view global learning as an important contribution to political education.

In the spirit of transformative education, we believe it is important to question deeply ingrained views of ourselves and the world, and to critically examine established patterns of thought. From a pedagogical perspective, our focus is a participatory learning process in which learners help shape the learning process themselves as much as possible, and in which their diverse perspectives are valued and incorporated. And finally: learning should be fun – interactive methods, creative tasks and physical activity make even complex topics accessible to everyone.
